The two craft breweries have partnered for the first time to launch its Passionfruit Session IPA, Magic Ratio.
Huddersfield–based craft brewery Magic Rock and Glaswegian brewers Brewgooder have combined their expertise for the first time to produce a new beer named Magic Ratio. The fruit of the craft breweries labours is a 4.1% ABV passionfruit session IPA, which has already secured a 6–month listing with Co-op in over 200 stores across the UK. The punchy pale ale will hit the supermarket’s shelves this month and will be Magic Rock’s debut with the retailer.
Magic Ratio is a heavily hopped brew that blends Simcoe, Galaxy, Citra and Vic Secret hops to emphasise the passionfruit character. The session IPA hits the taste buds with sharp and sweet citrus notes that are topped with juicy tropical fruit flavours.
The Magic Rock and Brewgooder partnership came about as a result of previous collaborations involving other craft breweries in the Lion Little World Beverages portfolio.
The new beer aims to support and drive awareness of the purpose driven brand’s mission to deliver clean water projects around the world. Its launch has come shortly after the Scottish brewers pledged to produce 1 billion pints of clean water over the next 3 years as part of its new partnership with Charity: Water, an organisation committed to solving the global water crisis in our lifetime.
Magic Ratio is available in a 330ml canned format with an RRP of £1.80.
